|
Hello again! This edition of InSite, I'm bringing you
something special. I spent some time a while back in
the south of Spain and I'm finally getting the chance to
share that with all our LGT readers.
For those who have never been there, it's an
incredibly rich and complex region, and my short
write-up is only the beginning of what it can offer both
the group traveler and those wanting to check it out on
their own. For those who have visited the region, I
hope I've done it justice!
And just as a reminder, Reader's Choice is in full
swing! Vote for your favorite destination, hotel, casino,
tour operator, and more by clicking here.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Andalusia In Spring
by Kelley Thompson
For groups visiting Andalusia, the southernmost
region of Spain, flamenco music is a great
introduction to the area. It can be hard to understand -
even when you speak Spanish. It's syncopated with
strikingly non-Western rhythms. And, just like
everything great, it's a cartoon of itself anywhere
outside its own neighborhood.
Take a peak at what activities Andalusia has in
store for your groups as we explore this Gypsy
paradise!

Affinity Rules: Military Reunions
By Elana Andersen
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there
are currently about 24.9 million veterans of
U.S. military services. Vietnam veterans
account for more than three in 10 vets, with
the youngest now in their early 50s. There
are 9.7 million veterans age 65 and older who
mostly served in WWII, Korea and early Vietnam.
This Affinity focus looks to the men and
women who have been in the U.S. military and
to the enduring bond attached to their
service commitment and comrades in arms.
