It's All About Groups!
August 31, 2007
|

|
|
You know, every so often, we get some very exciting
things going on in the office. Next week happens to be
one of those times!
Come Monday, our little Prep Traveler
magazine is "all growed up" - from a digest
magazine to a full-size publication. With
that, we have more resources for our readers
and more concentrated student sports and
performance youth editorial, zeroing in
on major youth destinations in each region of
the country - something we've never done
before in Prep.
Along with this growth, we have put up a
new, super-easy subscription form online and,
as always, our magazines are free to
qualified group organizers (that's you!).
Click
here to sign up to check out our new,
bigger format.
For those who already get Prep, don't
forget to fill in the Score Card in the back
to get information on our group-friendly
advertisers who have participated in this
edition. As for me, I'll be chipping away the
ol' keyboard, getting the next issue ready
for our loyal readers.
Enjoy!

Massachusetts
By Alice Gregory
Since the Pilgrims stepped ashore at Plymouth
Rock almost four hundred years ago,
Massachusetts has been at the center of
American history and culture. Although the
area of Massachusetts is small (just 7,800
square miles - tiny compared to Texas's
260,000 square miles), it would be difficult
to find a place which offers a greater wealth
of historic sites, cultural treasures and
scenic beauty.
Take a stroll through Massachusetts rich
history and enjoy three centuries of
architecture.

The Yootes of Today
By Mike Marchev
Young people have neither won nor lost the
game of life. Their game will be getting
started the moment they graduate from High
School. And even then, many will postpone
ramifications from poor judgment for another
four years. But just the same, I found
myself sharing many of the ideas and
suggestions I include in my adult business
programs with a group of seniors not long ago.

Miranda Rights of Customer Service
By Peter Shankman
Remember the last time you had excellent
customer service? How about the last time
someone went above and beyond for you at the
local supermarket?
No? Most people don't.
But most people do remember the last time
someone screwed up their order at the local
drive-through.
In today's society, the normal expectation is
bad customer service. Therefore, if you work
in any service business - from McDonald's to
an advertising agency - you're guilty until
you prove yourself otherwise.
