It's All About Groups!
September 14, 2007

Good morning and welcome to the fall season.
After a summer of absolutely crazy weather
and unpredictable baseball (Cubs in first
place? In September?!), I'm about ready for
the sun to settle down and football to heat up.
I can't say my own Bears have done very
well so far, with our own players and others
in the league already getting injured - and
badly. But as soon as they get the preseason
willies out of them, I think we are in for a
very interesting year.
So this weekend, let's get our fan
paraphernalia out and in the upright position
and our foam hands securely fastened. Beer
and pretzels will be served momentarily!

You Gotta Love Those Wildwood Days!
There's something special about The
Wildwoods. Some would say it's the miles of
beautiful and free beaches. To others, it's
the world-famous boardwalk jam-packed with
amazing amusement rides and attractions. And
a few might even say it's simply the smell of
warm funnel cake on a July night.
Whatever it is, it's undeniably The
Wildwoods, and it's
been drawing families to this five-mile
southern New Jersey Island for generations.

The Rhythmic Georgia Coast
By Kelley Thompson
I had the opportunity to visit the Georgia
Coast on a Fam trip sponsored by Georgia
Tourism after Travel South 2007. Traveling
from Savannah all the way down to the
Okefenokee Swamp at the southern border of
the state, we isle-hopped all along the
coastline to catch the best opportunities for
groups.
The first two things I noticed about the
Georgia coast were the salt air and the
small-town hum lilting among the live oaks.
This is a place to come just to be, where
your very pulse slows to match the rhythm of
the conversation and the warmth of the summer
breeze.
