A survey of the religious travel landscape reveals some great new museum exhibits, a new guidebook and a discount pass that opens doors in Jerusalem’s Old City. Of special interest to Catholics are exhibits at the Chicago History Museum, where Catholic Chicago runs through Jan. 4, and St. Paul’s Minnesota History Center, which stages Vatican Splendors Sept. 27-Jan. 11. In Arkansas, The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs (running through Oct. 25) has revamped its outdoor drama with new narrative and music. Paris and Lourdes await the visit of Pope Benedict XVI in September.
