Aquatica Takes Guests Under the Sea
SeaWorld Orlando has long educated and entertained guests about the sea, but Aquatica, coming March 2008, blends close animal encounters with the experience of a traditional water park.
Setting foot into Aquatica, guests immediately experience the vastness of nearly 60 acres of lush landscape inspired by the color, flora and carefree personality of the South Sea Islands.
Aquatica features 36 water slides, six rivers and lagoons, and more than 80,000 square feet of beach area. These distinct attractions will bring guests directly through the park’s animal habitats and undersea adventures. Live animals from all over the world including Commerson’s dolphins, brilliant macaws and colorful fish bring to life the park’s playful, high-energy nature.
Aquatica’s attractions offer equal emphasis on high-energy thrill rides and immersive swimming experiences. A colorful mix of racing tunnels, raft rides and rivers offer crashing surf and high speed thrills, while pools, lagoons and lazy rivers invite guests to enjoy themselves at a slower pace.
